This year's Month of Photography offers 101 events, including exhibitions, workshops, seminars and presentations, at 43 different locations in Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo, Smolyan and Sevlievo. Although the majority of work is by Bulgarian artists, both acclaimed and beginners, the fair is not lacking in terms of foreign presence. On 18 June, Swedish photographer Olof Jarlbro will present his black-and-white exhibition Nepal & Mao. Two days later, on 20 June, Ciaran Whyte from Ireland will be showing his The Wonder of Light collection. Month of Photography 2012 is the third edition of the fair. In November, photography lovers will get to enjoy another round of exhibitions as part of the international European Month of Photography.
